Benson Jerry is an outside linebacker from Nigeria. He was born in Ichama, Benue State, before moving to Nyanya, Abuja. He began his sporting journey playing soccer before being introduced to American football by his school teacher, later connecting with athletes in flag football in Abuja, where he started pursuing the sport seriously.

Benson earned MVP honors at NFL Africa in 2023 and was recruited from the NFL Africa Camp in Kenya that same year. Driven to become a smart, physical, and fundamentally strong player, he took the next step in his development through the Academy pathway.

Alongside his A-Level studies in Sociology, Photography, and Art, Benson enjoys staying active through dancing, reading books, and other activities. He supports the Minnesota Vikings, with Brian Asamoah as his favourite player.
