Bobby was born and raised in Oswaldtwistle in the North of England. He initially played cricket and football, participating in multiple national finals across the country with friends and family. He fell in love with American football during his second year of playing contact football.

He was introduced to the NFL Academy through social media after his mum sent his highlight film, which led to his visit and subsequent recruitment. Motivated by the goal of representing Europe and his country, Bobby joined the Academy.

Alongside his studies in sport coaching, he enjoys spending time with family, playing sports, and gaming, particularly Clash Royale. A fan of the Green Bay Packers, his favourite player is Jordan Love.
