Emil was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. He tried several sports growing up but didn’t stick with any until he discovered American football at the age of 10. Inspired by his dad, who loved the sport.

He was introduced to the NFL Academy through his club coach. While attending a regular practice, a coach from the Danish Men’s National Team noticed him and invited him to practice with them. After impressing there, he was put in contact with Coach Chase Baker, attended a combine, and performed exceptionally well, earning his spot at the Academy.

Alongside his studies in Math, English Language, and English Literature, he enjoys playing PS5 and fashion. His favourite NFL player is Tom Brady, and he is a fan of the New England Patriots.
