BIO

Hugo was born and raised in Winchester, England. He played football, rugby, and cricket before discovering American football. His journey began when he joined the Solent Seahawks, inspired by his brother’s experience with the club. After mixing football with rugby training, he decided to focus fully on American football and joined the South Coast Spitfires flag team to improve his technical skills.

Encouraged by friends and seeing his brother join the Academy, Hugo pursued the NFL Academy, attending the London trials and a training session at the Academy, where he earned an offer. He was introduced to the Academy through a family connection and committed after impressing the coaches during training.

Alongside his studies in Business, History, Psychology, and Law, Hugo enjoys golf, sports, spending time with friends and family, music, movies, and TV shows. He is also a fan of the San Francisco 49ers.
