Israel was born in London before moving to Sheffield, where he grew up. He discovered American football at the age of 14 after a friend from school invited him to play for the Sheffield Giants. From that moment, he committed himself to the sport, with the goal of one day joining the NFL Academy.

Israel joined SGS Bristol PRiDE to continue his development. After being introduced to Coach Chase Baker by a mutual friend, he impressed with his film. Coach Daniel Docal later visited him and offered him a place at the Academy.

Inspired by the Academy’s player development and the success of alumni such as Daniel Akinkunmi, who also played for the Sheffield Giants, Israel made the move to Loughborough. Alongside his studies in Sports Coaching, he enjoys playing FIFA, College Football with his teammates, and watching Netflix. His favourite NFL player is Nate Wiggins, and he supports the Baltimore Ravens.
