Lucas was born and raised in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, where he first discovered American football through playing Madden 22. The following year, he joined the Hertfordshire Cheetahs and began developing his skills on the field.

A talented multi-sport athlete, Lucas was a county champion in shot put and discus at school before focusing on American football.

Lucas chose the Academy for the opportunities and exposure it provides to colleges and universities in the United States. Alongside football, he is studying A Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry, while enjoying gaming in his spare time. A fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, Lucas continues to develop as a Long Snapper.
