Sam was born in Albi, a city near Toulouse in France, and grew up surrounded by sports. Over the years he competed in handball, CrossFit, and American football, developing a wide athletic background. With a father who played in Paris, Sam grew up close to the game and spent much of his youth around football fields, which helped fuel his passion for the sport.

His path to the NFL Academy began through social media, first attending the Paris Combine in December 2023 before earning an invitation to the London Combine in February 2025. Seeing the Academy as the best opportunity for a European player, he joined to develop within a program of excellence that pushes athletes to grow both on and off the field.

Sam is currently studying sport development and coaching, while also pursuing interests in coding and programming. A Buffalo Bills fan, he continues to chase his goal of reaching the highest level of the sport.
