Shaq was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. He initially played basketball before discovering American football after watching his first game in the United States. Instantly drawn to the sport, he decided to pursue it seriously and began training to develop his skills.

He connected with the NFL Academy through social media and attended the combines in Germany. Motivated by the opportunity to play football at the highest level for his age, Shaq joined the Academy to challenge himself and grow as a player.

Alongside his studies in sport coaching and development, he enjoys playing volleyball. A fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Shaq looks up to Jalen Ramsey.
