Silas was born and raised in Frederikssund, Denmark. He played soccer for five years before discovering American football in 2019. His introduction to the sport came from his older brother, and after quitting soccer, Silas was instantly hooked. He started at his local club, achieving significant success, including winning two championships and earning team MVP honours twice.

He connected with the NFL Academy through social media and attended a combine in Munich. Drawn by the opportunity for better competition, development, and exposure, Silas joined the Academy to continue elevating his game.

Alongside his studies in sports science, he enjoys following the NFL and his favourite player is Troy Polamalu. He is also a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
