Aukusti is a DB born and raised in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. He initially played soccer until the age of thirteen before discovering American football, a sport he has now played for five years.

He was introduced to the game by friends after his soccer team disbanded. From his first practice, Aukusti knew American football was the right sport for him. He went on to become a two-time U17 Nordic Champion and won bronze at the U19 European Championship.

Aukusti was recruited through Instagram after Coach Maceo saw his highlights and invited him for a visit. Motivated to reach the next level, he joined the NFL Academy, a program he had long followed on social media. Alongside his BTEC Sport studies, he enjoys playing basketball and other sports, listening to music, spending time with friends and watching movies.
