Diego is a quarterback from Mexico City, Mexico, and joins the NFL Academy from Tec Ciudad de México. He first discovered American football through his family, with his father introducing him to the sport at a young age. After impressing at the NFL Academy Mexico tryouts, Diego earned the opportunity to take the next step in his development and compete at a higher level. He is studying a BTEC in Business and is a fan of the New Orleans Saints. Diego also made history as the first Mexican quarterback selected to join the NFL Academy.
