Idriss was born in Mulhouse, France, and raised in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he made his name in rugby. A standout sevens player, Idriss was named MVP at the 2026 Rugby Europe 7s Championship in Makarska and helped Switzerland win the 2026 Rugby Europe 7s Trophy before making the switch to American football.

After watching the Super Bowl, Idriss was inspired to try the sport for himself. He submitted his rugby highlights and earned an invitation to the NFL Academy combine in London, where he impressed Coach George Reynolds and secured his place in the programme.

Currently studying a Level 3 BTEC in Sport Coaching, Idriss sees the NFL Academy as a unique opportunity to pursue his football ambitions. Away from the field, he enjoys rugby and track & field. A fan of the Detroit Lions, Idriss looks up to Jahmyr Gibbs as he continues his development as a wide receiver.
