Hugo was born in Lyon and began his sporting journey in basketball before making the switch to American football. Wanting to try something different from basketball and share the experience with his brother, Hugo quickly developed a passion for the game.

Hugo was discovered by Maceo Beard and Daniel Docal at a football camp in Paris unrelated to the NFL Academy, which led to his opportunity to join the programme.

Alongside football, Hugo is studying Business and Coaching while continuing to explore his interests in music and other sports, including soccer and basketball. A fan of the Washington Commanders, Hugo is inspired by Jeffrey M’Ba as he works towards reaching the next level in his football career.
