Leon was born and raised in Japan, where he discovered American football through his family and friends. He earned his opportunity to join the NFL Academy after impressing coaches at a camp in Japan.

Leon chose the NFL Academy because of the high level of competition and coaching, believing it was the best environment to develop as a player and take his game to the next level.

Away from football, Leon enjoys watching movies and listening to music. A passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, he looks up to DeVonta Smith as he continues his journey in the sport.
