Ewan was born and raised in Leeds, where he discovered American football after seeing clips of the sport online. Curious to learn more, he reached out to people from his school who played for the local team and quickly developed a passion for the game.

Ewan earned his opportunity to join the NFL Academy after attending two combines and being invited to train with the team on two occasions before receiving his offer. He joined the programme to become the best football player he can be while surrounding himself with teammates and coaches who share the same mindset and work ethic.

Alongside football, Ewan studies Computer Science and Geography, while enjoying computers and video games in his spare time. A fan of the Miami Dolphins, Ewan looks up to Jaylen Waddle as he continues his development as a tight end.
